Case Study - Sherrier CE Primary School

REVIEW

"Thank you to Gary and the team at Cubed Creative for our wonderful History timeline vinyl and our entrance hall display. Not only were this company great value, would match other's deals they had great communication and kept us informed at all stages.

A great eye for detail in the design phase. Even after part of the picture was not aligned correctly and coming away from the wall, Gary made sure he made a completely new wall vinyl and re-did the whole wall, not just a patch job- thank you, we are very grateful! We would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Thank you so much for your time and prompt response to rectifying the error- thank you!"

Transforming Learning at Sherrier CE Primary School with Creative Wall Art

At Sherrier CE Primary School, the walls have become more than just structural elements – they are now vibrant canvases of learning and inspiration. Our recent project saw the creation of a 50-meter-long history timeline and a dynamic Wall of Achievement, along with an uplifting backdrop for the school reception that embodies the school's core values. This transformation illustrates the powerful role of educational wall art in enhancing the learning environment.

The 50-Meter Journey Through Time

Bringing History to Life

The centrepiece of our project was a colossal, 50-meter-long history timeline sprawling across the corridors of Sherrier CE Primary School. Beginning from the Stone Age and extending to the present time, this visual masterpiece encapsulates key events in history, many of which are integral parts of Sherrier's curriculum.

Educational Impact

This timeline is not just a decorative piece; it's a learning tool that offers students a tangible sense of history's expanse and progression. By visually mapping out major historical events, students can better grasp the concept of time and understand the context of their historical studies.

Wall of Achievement: Celebrating Success

Inspiring Excellence

Wall of Achievement, designed to celebrate and motivate. It's a space that recognises the accomplishments of Sherrier's students, whether academic, artistic, or athletic.

A Sense of Belonging

This wall fosters a sense of community and belonging. It sends a powerful message to students: their achievements are valued and remembered, encouraging them to strive for excellence in all their endeavours.

Reception Area: Reflecting Core Values

First Impressions Count

The school reception area received a special touch with a beautifully crafted backdrop showcasing the school's core values. This artistic addition beautifies the space and reinforces the school's ethos to everyone who enters.

Core Values in Art

The mural in the reception area is a constant reminder of the values that Sherrier CE Primary School stands for. It serves to inspire students, staff, and visitors alike, aligning perfectly with the school's mission to foster an environment of respect, integrity, and excellence.

Conclusion

The transformation at Sherrier CE Primary School is a testament to the power of educational wall art. It transcends mere aesthetics, becoming integral to the school's educational fabric. Our journey with Sherrier demonstrates how thoughtfully designed art can enhance learning spaces, making them more engaging, inspiring, and reflective of the school's values and educational goals.
